Corticotropin-releasing hormone receptor is a G protein-coupled receptor which binds corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH).[1] Cells in the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland known as corticotropes express the receptor and will secrete adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) when stimulated.
