Classification based on severity

Gynecomastia can be classified on the basis of severity as:

  • Grade I: Minor enlargement with no skin excess
  • Grade II: Moderate enlargement with no skin excess
  • Grade III: Moderate enlargement with skin excess
  • Grade IV: Marked enlargement with skin excess
