There is no single diagnostic study of choice for the diagnosis of chondroma, but chondroma can be diagnosed based on x-ray, MRI, CT scan, bone scan and biopsy.[1][2][3]

- There is no single diagnostic study of choice for the diagnosis of chondroma, but chondroma can be diagnosed based on x-ray, MRI, CT scan, bone scan and biopsy.
Diagnostic results
The following result of biopsy is confirmatory of chondroma:
- Hyaline cartilage with sparse chondrocytes
- No nuclear atypia or mitotic figures.
