*CT scan is useful when other modalities are inconclusive for evaluation of [[structural heart disease]] in the presence of [[syncope]].(Class2a, 2017AHA/ACC/HRS guideline).
*If  [[syncope]] is suspected due to [[pulmonary thromboembolism]]  CT scan is recommended.
