Distal radius fractures are a very common [[injury]] of the [[radius (bone)|radius]] that occur at the distal end, where the [[wrist]] [[joint]] lies. A [[fracture (bone)|fracture]] affecting the distal end of the [[radius (bone)|radius]] and often the [[ulna|ulnar styloid]]. Because of its close proximity to the [[wrist|wrist joint]] this injury is often called a wrist fracture.
