Local/regional therapy recommended for the management of Kaposi's sarcoma patients may include surgical excision, cryotherapy, and sclerotherapy.[1] Local excision of Kaposi's sarcoma is typically done for localized lesions that are symptomatic (not advanced disease). It is also done for cosmetically unacceptable lesions.
