Overview

There are no echocardiography associated with linitis plastica. Ultrasound may be helpful in the diagnosis of poorly differentiated linitis plastica. Findings on an endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) suggestive of linitis plastica include signet ring cells.

Echocardiography/Ultrasound

  • There are no echocardiography findings associated with linitis plastica. However, EUS-FNA may be helpful in diagnosis of poorly differentiated linitis plastica.[1]
  • Findings suggestive of linitis plastica include:
    • Signet ring cells
