Overview
Catheter ablation is indicated in the long term management of patients with Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome.[1]
Catheter Ablation
The indications of catheter ablation in WPW syndrome are as follows:
- Patients who have poorly tolerated symptoms or atrial fibrillation with rapid conduction (Class I, Level of Evidence B)
- Patients who have well tolerated symptoms (Class I, Level of Evidence B)
- Asymptomatic patients (Class IIa, Level of Evidence B)[1]
