House Officer (May 2020- Present) : Medical Intern in the Medicine Department at Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Center, Karachi , Pakistan.

Doctor Associate ( February – August 2019 ) : I worked in South-City Hospital , Karachi , in the Gastroenterology department. where I helped in the clinical practice by taking histories and making provisional diagnosis, performing physical examinations and ordering labs and radiological investigations. Research Experience

June – August 2018: Clinical Research Title: Optical Imaging Characteristics of Colonic Polyps. Duration: 2 months Primary Investigator: Dr. Nirav Thosani, MD, MPH, Associate Professor and Advance Gastroenterologist in UT Health Science Centre Houston. Description: We assessed polyp morphology during colonoscopy with use of traditional white light endoscopy as well as with novel optical enhancement technology. We collected data regarding polyp size, location, morphology, paris classification, VLE optical diagnosis and optical enhancement technology based optical diagnosis and correlated results with final pathology diagnosis. We determined overall accuracy of WLE based optical diagnosis and compared that against use of optical enhancement technology. I participated in data collection, tabulaton and interpretation.

I love to travel and explore the outdoors as a way to unwind. I like to engage in high intensity sports like cycling , soccer and squash. I enjoy eating out and I am not shy of trying different cuisines. I also love to read books and articles related to medicine, history, fantasy and science fiction.
