I am a Medical Graduate from Nepal. I have been working in the remote healthcare setting of Nepal since I have graduated in 2020. I am very enthusiastic about research activities and I am working on a few publications. Medicine is always a team effort and all the information that we read about has been researched and written by so many scholars. I believe it’s a boon for us to be able to contribute to the expanding medical literature and make an impact. Since the pandemic we have seen how research can play a huge role in the development of medical knowledge, over the year of the pandemic so many articles were published, an individual effort, which led to us being more and more informed about this new diseases and how to move forward to mitigate it. This has certainly heightened my own curiosity and interest in being a part of the ever expanding medical literature to make a small contribution. I believe Wikidoc is a huge platform for young researcher like me to make a small contribution to the medical literature and this is a very humbling opportunity. Besides being a medical doctor and researcher, I am involved in Meditation and Mindfulness. Another realm I discovered during this pandemic while I was researching the benefits of meditation for our mental health. I enjoy reading books, playing guitar and going on treks as my hobbies.
