Primary Prevention
The following measures may be helpful for the primary prevention of psoriatic arthritis.[1][2]
- Patient education about joint protection, and bone health.
- Exercise
- Cognitive-behavioral therapies may help in decreasing:
- Functional disabilities
- Disease activity
- Feelings of low self-esteem
- Physical
- Nutritional therapy such as increased intake of calcium and vitamin D, high protein diet and iron rich diet.
