An oropharyngeal lesion is a wound or sore spot on the oropharynx, or back of the mouth. This includes sores on the upper throat, tonsils, soft palate, and base of the tongue.

Causes of oropharyngeal lesions include oral cancer, ulcers, and infections such as Ebola. Template:Disease-stub
