Patients and their family members should be educated on sign and symptoms of [[proteinuria]], [[hypertension]], [[renal dysfunction]]. Patient along with affected family members should be monitored regularly for the development of [[hypertension]] , persistent [[proteinuria]] and progression to [[renal impairment]].

**Patient with new onset of [[Hypertension]] should be educated with [[lifestyle]] modifications and continuity of [[medication]] on regular basis.
**Patient should be educated on the signs and symptoms of persistent [[proteinuria]] and [[renal impairment]].
**Patient should be advised to maintain a follow up schedule to monitor the progression of [[renal impairment]].
**Patient's family members should be encouraged to go for frequent health visits to [[diagnose]] the [[disease]] in early course and treat the disease according to symptoms.
**Patient with severe [[renal dysfunction]] may need long term [[Dialysis]] and patient should be educated on adherence of this regularly.

Overview
