The kidney tubule, also renal tubule, is the portion of the kidney containing the fluid filtered through the glomerulus.^[1]

The components of the kidney tubule are:

• Proximal tubule
• Loop of Henle
• Descending limb of loop of Henle
• Thin ascending limb of loop of Henle
• Thick ascending limb of loop of Henle
• Distal convoluted tubule
