Leiomyosarcoma is generally a diagnostic dilemma requires the use of both radiology and pathology for their accurate diagnosis.Ultrasonography is relatively cheap,non invasive and easily available technology in early detection of soft tissue mass.It gives an initial evaluation of the size, location and consistency of soft tissue lesions, particularly when located in the abdomen or extremities.However the specificity of US in characterizing a soft-tissue mass is low.Doppler flow studies have been used in some studies to assess intramural blood flow in an attempt to improve preoperative diagnosis of sarcomas but reports, so far, have been conflicting
