Symptoms in Infants and Children

The following symptoms were observed in infants and children with aortic stenosis.[20][21][22]

  • Apical impulse displaced laterally or not palpable
  • Diastolic thrill at the apex
  • Signs of heart failure in severe case
  • the murmur will be Diastolic murmur, Low pitched, Opening snap followed by decrescendo-crescendo rumbling murmur.
