Echocardiography is the first line diagnostic modality for Eisenmenger's syndrome. The following findings can be delineated:
- Underlying cardiac defect.
- Direction of intracardiac blood flow.
- Quantification of right ventricle and pulmonary artery pressures
- Coexisting structural abnormalities
