On ultrasound, non-Hodgkin lymphoma is characterized by:

• Hepatomegaly
• Splenomegaly

Ultrasound is also used to :

• Check the testicles in men with lymphoma involving the testicle
• Help to collect cells or tissue during a biopsy, such as a fine needle aspiration or core needle biopsy
