Elena Renier is the owner of The Family Medical Herbalist operating in London, UK. Consultant in Medical Herbalism, Medical Aromatherapy, Mycotherapy, Nutrition and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Coaching. Elena has been a Member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists since 2007, the UK leading professional organisation in herbal medicine, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this 2014!.

Since obtaining a BSc Health Sciences (Hons): Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster in London, Elena has been running a herbal medicine, aromatherapy, nutrion and neurolinguistic programming (NLP) clinic in West and Central London. Alongside clinical activities, Elena has run a number of workshops and short courses for patients and various organisations such as the Soil Association, Public Libraries and Community Centres and has contributed to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) conferences for Health Professionals.

Since 2011, the Practitioner has been cooperating with the Scientific Committee of the International Mycotherapy Institute,Italy (IMI), which was launched just a decade ago on the footsteps of the thirty-year old MykoTroph Institute, Germany, the very first institution specialising in the therapeutics of mushrooms in the whole of Europe. Elena has held responsibily to devise personalised mycotherapy therapeutic protocols for patients' cases, which were referred by Doctors and other medical professionals to IMI and included cases of allergies, autoimmune disease, infections, tumours, cardiovascular, digestive, neurological, stress, endocrine, hormonal, metabolic disorders and slimming programmes.
