I grew up in western Kansas and attended university at Fort Hays State University, followed by 2+ years of service in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Moldova as a life skills teacher. I also served in Americorps as a VISTA volunteer at Butler County Community College where I helped develop a service-learning program for the college. I have also lived and served in Germany and Honduras. I am currently pursuing my M.D. at University of Kansas School of Medicine. I enjoy traveling and photography in my free time.
