  • SBP <90 mm Hg or
  • MAP ↓ >30 mm Hg below baseline

Action Items

  • Maintain patent airway; assist breathing as needed.
  • Maintain IV/IO access.
  • Administer oxygen if hypoxemic.
  • Monitor blood pressure, oximetry and attach ECG monitor/defibrillator.
