MRI indications in patients with SpA are included:

• For evaluating inflammatory lesions of enthesitis

• When the clinical suspicious for diagnosis of SpA are high but there is not evidence of it in sacroiliac X-ray

• To evaluate the compression of spinal cord

• In patients with bowel or bladder dysfunction (that night happen due to cord compression and caudal equina syndrome)
