Polymer blend

Jump to navigation Jump to search

A polymer blend, polymer alloy, or polymer mixture is a member of a class of materials analogous to metal alloys, in which two or more polymers are blended together to create a new material with different physical properties. [1] Polymer blends can be broadly divided into three categories: miscible, partially miscible and immiscible blends. The latter is by far the most populous group.
