Phacetoperane (Levofacetoperane) is a stimulant drug.[1] It is the reverse ester of the well known stimulant drug methylphenidate, which is used as a treatment for ADHD. The reverse esters of many drugs which contain an ester group in their structure such as pethidine and cocaine, show similar activity to the parent compound.[2]

Phacetoperane was researched for similar applications to methylphenidate, but was never marketed. The levo-isomer Levophacetoperane seems to have been more researched, but presumably the dextro isomer or racemic mix are also known.[3]
