Overview

Pericardial cyst is the outpouching of the parietal pericardium that is lined by mesothelial cells. It is usually unilocular. It is most commonly detected incidentally in asymptomatic patients. It's most common location is the right costophrenic angle

Differentiating Pericardial cyst from other Diseases

Diagnosis

On imaging, Pericardial cyst appears as smoothly and sharply marginated mass.
