External funding

External funding covers approximately 40% of all of the Institute’s costs. NPHI's policy is to secure as much external funding as possible to guarantee the implementation of its action plans. [1]. NPHI also does research with private funds in the fields of vaccines and nutrition. Private funding has drawn criticism from some NGOs. [2] [3]
