Overview

Other imaging finding for hepatic hemangioma include SPECT, which demonstrates decreased activity on initial dynamic images and increased activity on delayed, blood pool images.[1]

Other Imaging Findings

SPECT

Other imaging finding for hepatic hemangioma include SPECT, which is only sensitive for larger lesions. It may demonstrate:[1]

  • Tc99-labeled red blood cells show decreased activity on early dynamic images
  • Increased activity on delayed, blood pool images
