Cancer/testis antigen 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CTAG1B gene.^[1]^[2]^[3] It is most often referenced by its Alias NY-ESO-1

It is a tumor antigen, making it a prime target for cancer immunotherpy ^[4]
