medical student based in Cambridge, UK.

I am a medical student at the University of Cambridge and a bioinformatician at the National University of Singapore. After developing an experimental diagnostic assay for Fragile X and XE Syndromes, I now take charge of developing computing algorithms to diagnose chromosomal and genetic disorders using R, Python and Bash. I am also the deputy lead of a Cambridge medtech team that focuses on developing a novel neurosurgical retractor.

Outside academia, I am a certified first-aid instructor, hospital volunteer and musician (tenor, violin and viola).
