Juan Luis Santana Guerrero is a doctor, graduated from the School of Medicine of the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) with a concentration in research. Has worked in the conduction of research at the Department of Academic Research at UNIBE, Research Department at the Hospital General de la Plaza de la Salud (HGPS) and the Knowledge Management Department of Los Centros de Diagnóstico y Medicina Avanzada y de Conferencias Médicas y Telemedicina (CEDIMAT), as well as collaborated in research with Centro Nacional de Investigaciones en Salud Materno Infantil (CENISMI) and the University of Miami (UM).

At O&M Medical School (O&Med), Dr. Santana has served as Laboratory and Basic Sciences assistant, as well as Community Project associate facilitator at O&M Medical School (O&Med), teaching and coordinating Information Technology and Research Methods courses.

Dr. Santana has collaborated in several research projects, including clinical trials and research on HIV-infected patients.

Additionally, he is currently a student in the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research course of Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
