I spent five years as a CNA from the age of 17. I graduated high school at the age of I have a bachelors degree in chemistry. I went back to school after that for nursing I have worked in a and went to a gifted academy to earn a degree in physics. Things changed when I found my passion in medicine. I have now worked in a peds ICU for the last three years or so, and on the floors of a pediatric hospital before that. I have gone back to school to pursue a career in medicine. I live in a nice home with my three dogs. I don't go out much in order to keep my at risk patient population safe during this pandemic. I use my time to study, get certifications, and take online classes. I like to play with my dogs, I have taught them to talk using an AAC device. They can currently say about seven words, I plan to teach them about 25 words. I have a passion for pediatrics. I plan to practice medicine at the hospital I work at now. Special interests I have are cardiology, cardiac surgery, trauma, critical care medicine, and emergency medicine. I am currently working on getting certifications in ECMO, so that I may take care of our patients on the pump.I would like to use this wiki page to help supplement my upcoming classes. It has been awhile since I have been in lecture based courses, and I am nervous about them.
