Transcription Factor II E (TFIIE) is one of several basal transcription factors, all which are involved in the assembly of the basal apparatus of RNA polymerase II.[1]
Transcription Factor II E is encoded by the GTF2E1 and GTF2E2 genes.[2][3][4]
