Transcription Factor II E (TF_IIE) is one of several basal transcription factors, all which are involved in the assembly of the basal apparatus of RNA polymerase II.^[1]

Transcription Factor II E is encoded by the GTF2E1 and GTF2E2 genes.^[2]^[3]^[4]
