Tissue biopsy is the gold standard test for the diagnosis of rhabdomyosarcoma.

Tissue biopsy is the gold standard test for the diagnosis of rhabdomyosarcoma^[1].
It is recommended that experienced pediatric pathologist evaluate tissue sample.
It is essential for proper diagnosis, histologic classification of tumor, treatment option and prognosis estimation of rhabdomyosarcoma.
Open incisional biopsy is recommended for diagnosis.^[2]
Core biopsy is not suggested that much due to inappropriate tissue sampling and errors.
The recommended biopsy type for bladder, prostate, and vagina tumors is endoscopic biopsy.
