Overview
Thoracopancreatic fistula may lead to pleural effusion which can be detected incidentally on a plain chest radiograph.
Pancreatic fistula chest x ray
- There are no x ray findings associated with pancreatic fistula. However pancreatic fistula can complicate into a thoracopancreatic fistula which may lead to pleural effusion.
- Pleural effusion may be found incidentally on a plain chest radiograph.[1][2]
