Murai Vaccine

Template:Mergeto The Murai Vaccine is a fictional drug first appearing in the popular anime series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. The vaccine, created by accident, was found to cure the debilitating affliction of Cyberbrain Sclerosis. The vaccine was later condemned by the Japanese government because its creator, Dr. Chitose Murai, was unable to prove why it worked, and because it's availability on the market could slow research in micromachine technology, a very promising field.

The whole story about the Murai Vaccine is made from a matter of the Maruyama VaccineSpecific Substance MaruyamaSSM) which attracted attention as a specific medicine of cancer in Japan in 1960-70's, as for a profile of an inventor and the process of nonrecognition in Ministry of Health and Welfare Pharmaceutical Affairs Council.
