There are no x-ray findings associated with colorectal cancer. However, a chest x-ray may be helpful in the detection of lung metastasis.
X-ray
- There are no x-ray findings associated with colorectal cancer. However, a chest x-ray may be helpful in the detection of lung metastasis.
- Lung metastasis on chest X-ray normally appears as peripheral, rounded nodules of variable size, scattered throughout both lungs.[1]
- Atypical features include consolidation, cavitation, calcification, hemorrhage, and secondary pneumothorax.[1]
