Cetero Research specializes in early clinical research and bioanalysis. Cetero provides practical solutions for Bioequivalence, Cardiac Safety, Dermatology, Bioanalytical and Labeling support studies.

In late 2006, PRACS Institute, Gateway Medical Research and Ba Research International joined together to form Cetero Research, a contract research organization (CRO) serving the biotechnology, generic, and pharma industries.

History

Gateway Medical Research, Inc., founded in 1987 by Dan Shipley, was a contract research organization specializing in bioequivalence testing of generic drugs.

In September 2005, Gateway Medical Research opened their facility housing ten clinics, with a capacity for 520 study participants in St. Charles, Missouri.

In July 2006, Gateway Medical Research joined with PRACS Institute, Ltd. under the umbrella company of CRS.

In October 2006, CRS acquired Ba Research, a bioanalytical laboratory located in Houston, Texas and Toronto, Canada. With the joining of the three companies, CRS became known as Cetero Research.

In March 2007, Allied Research International was added to the Cetero family of companies.

Integrated Bioequivalence Studies Cetero’s Integrated Bioequivalence Solution links clinical, pharmacokinetic, bioanalytical and statistical services.

Cardiac Safety Studies Cetero Research provides companies with the ability to evaluate the potential for unintended effects of drugs on the heart.

Labeling Support Studies Cetero Research is the specialist in conducting research that is used as the basis for labeling claims.
