He completed a one-year internship at Sir Sunderlal Hospital, Banaras Hindu University, and performed an in-depth study of delirium in hospitalized elderly. In 2008 he won 2nd prize for his poster presentation at the GERICON-2008 conference. Other achievements include presenting a paper in the International Congress of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine ICGGM-2009 (Delhi chapter) and serving as a member of the Indian Academy of Geriatrics.
