History and Symptoms
Symptoms of toxic multinodular goitre are similar to that of hyperthyroidism, including:
- heat intolerance
- hyperkinesis
- tremor
- irritability
- weight loss
- increased appetite
- goitre (swelling of the thyroid gland)
- tachycardia (high heart rate - above 180 bpm at rest)
