Common physical examination findings of Strep throat include:[1][2][3]

Children > 3yrs

Children <3 yrs

Children <3 yrs does not have typical physical examination findings of acute pharyngitis. However, following findings may suggest GAS pharyngitis:[1]

  • Low grade fever
  • Nasal congestion and erythema
  • Nasal discharge
