Overview

Cost-effectiveness of Therapy

Current literature suggests that in patients with refractory chronic rhinosinusitis endoscopic sinus surgery is superior to continued medical therapy in terms of symptom relief, quality of life and cost effectiveness. In patients with less sever forms of the disease, medical therapy is more cost effective, since it helps maintain the quality of life and health-state utility of the patients.[1]
