There are no diagnostic laboratory findings for linitis plastica. Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of linitis plastica may include abnormal complete blood picture, electrolyte abnormalities, and occult blood. Linitis plastica often metastasizes to the liver in the advanced stages, this is associated with an elevated alkaline phosphatase.

- To look for anemia
- Complete metabolic panel (CMP)
