Levopropoxyphene is an antitussive.
It is an optical isomer of Dextropropoxyphene. The racemic mixture is called Propoxyphene. Only the dextro-isomer (Dextropropoxyphene) has an analgesic effect; the levo-isomer appears to exert only an antitussive effect.
