Overview

A chest CT scan with or without contrast may reveal the size and the location of the LV aneurysm. It can also show the presence of calcifications in it.

CT

A CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of LV aneurysm. A CT scan can indicate the location, size, and the presence of thrombosis in the wall of the aneurysm.[1]
