Kumail Nanjiani is not taking any chances as [/news/coronavirus/index.html COVID-19] cases rise in [/news/los-angeles/index.html Los Angeles].
The 42-year-old was spotted picking up multiple containers full of baked goods on Wednesday afternoon.
The Newsreaders actor also kept a small container of hand sanitizer clipped to his pants just to be safe as made his pastry run.
Taking extra precautions: Kumail Nanjiani was spotted wearing a face shield on top of a face mask as he picked up a number of baked goods in Los Angeles on Wednesday
Kumail could be seen wearing a tight, light orange t-shirt on top of a pair of blue jeans with cuffed bottoms; he also wore a pair of Adidas running shoes for his trip.
In addition to a white face mask, Nanjiani kept a large plastic face shield on for extra protection during his outing.

He gained further exposure for the 2017 semi-autobiographical comedy The Big Sick, which he wrote and starred in.
The film was based on the early portion of his relationship with his now-wife Emily V. Gordon, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
Nanjiani will star in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe entry Eternals, which is set to be released in 2021.
The comedian has been cast as Kingo Sunen, a member of the titular characters who has assumed the identity of a Bollywood star in order to blend in with other humans.

In an interview with [ ], the actor spoke about his feelings regarding the upcoming superhero nonton film online and how upon his first time watching footage he was blown away by the dynamics that were present on screen. 
'The story is just so big and so epic. And I don't mean epic in the internet way, I mean epic in the old-school way…It doesn't look like any of the other Marvel movies.'
Nanjiani also commented on the fact that although the movie was centered around superheroes, he felt that the majority of the picture would actually defy expectations in its portrayal of relationships between its characters.
'While you have certain scenes where you're hanging up on a wire fighting bad guys and you have all these superpowers, the rest of it does feel like you're making something really small.' 
Something different: In an interview about the upcoming feature, Nanjiani stated that 'It doesn't look like any of the other Marvel movies'
