The secondary prevention strategies following H. pylori infection to prevent recurrence of peptic ulcer disease and gastric cancer include the use of antibiotics to prevent recurrence of infection and the post treatment confirmation of H. pylori eradication after treatment using diagnostic tests.

Secondary Prevention

  • Use of antibiotics to prevent recurrence of infection
  • Post treatment confirmation of H. pylori eradication after treatment using diagnostic tests.
