Globoidnan A is a ligand found in Eucalyptus globoidea, a tree native to Australia. It has been found to inhibit the action of HIV integrase, an enzyme which is responsible for the introduction of HIV viral RNA into a host's cellular DNA. So far it is not known that globoidnan A inhibits the action of other retroviral integrases, although it is likely that this possibility is being investigated. Template:Pharm-stub
