Overview
Echocardiography and renal ultrasound can reveal the diagnostic pattern of Fabry's disease in these particular organs.
Echocardiography
- Ventricular hypertrophy (left and right) especially: posterior basal wall[1]
- Function
- Systolic function: preserved
- Diastolic function: decrease (mild to moderate)[2]
- Valvular anomalies
Ultrasound
Renal ultrasound
- Renal Cyst: cortical and parapelvic
- Increased parenchymal echogenicity
- Decreased cortical thickening[4]
