Dextrocardia history and symptoms

Symptoms

Patients with isolated dextrocardia with no associated abnormalities are usually asymptomatic. When dextrocardia presents with abnormalities such as kartagener syndrome and situs inversus, patients may presents with symptoms that include:

• Symptoms of associated conditions
  • cyanosis
  • dyspnea
  • Failure to grow and gain weight
  • Fatigue
  • Jaundice
  • Pale skin
  • Repeated sinus or lung infections
