Chemical pneumonitis is inflammation of the lung caused by irritation from aspirated [[vomitus]] or barium used in gastro-intestinal imaging, ingested gasoline or other [[Fractional distillation|petroleum distillate]]s, ingested or skin absorbed [[pesticide]]s, gases from [[electroplating]], or other irritants.
